POSTPONED TIL APRIL 14th

On March 31st, the Hudson River Rebuild By Design DEP group is scheduled to have Jersey Avenue closed between 18th Street (Jersey City) and Newark/Harrison Streets (Hoboken).

(see Google map overview https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7337762,-74.0435524,17z/data=!5m1!1e1?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDIyNC4wIKXMDSoJLDEwMjExNDUzSAQAw%3D%3D )

This first phase of construction will consist of a full shutdown (in both directions) lasting approximately one month, then for the following two months there will be one south bound (to Jersey City) lane available for vehicular traffic (no truck traffic) up to the July 4th weekend.  RBDH will reopen all Jersey Ave lanes for the July 4th celebration.

Traffic will be detoured to either Grove or Marin Street. The Grove Street overpass clearance is 13 feet 2 inches. The Marin Street overpass clearance is 12 feet 2 inches. Trucks higher than this will be prohibited from these detours. CLICK HERE for the official truck detour during this work is being conducted.
